BEVERLEY KNIGHT

Following the success of last year’s platinum selling “Greatest Hits” CD, award-winning UK singer/songwriter BEVERLEY KNIGHT is set to release her eagerly awaited 5th studio album, her 4th for Parlophone Records in May 2007. Recorded in five days in Nashville, Tennessee, “Music City Soul” sees BEVERLEY adopting a live, organic soul sound that pushes her gospel roots to the fore – and the result is electric. The album is produced by Mark Nevers and features a fine collection of local Tennessee musicians who have played with legend such as Elvis Presley and Al Green. “Music City Soul” also features the guitar playing of legendary Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, a long time fan of KNIGHT’S. He offererd his services after she played a gig with him in 2005 and he adds his flavour here in style. The debut single is “”No Man’s Land” and it’s released on April 30th.
